Enriching Lives Through Therapy and Self-Sufficiency Training

What We Can Do for You

Eyes Wyde Shut Inc. offer individuals peer support services, referrals, resources and basic life skill education. We believe that the individuals we serve flourish the most when they remain in close vicinity to services and other support systems.

We help individuals develop the necessary life skills that will help sustain them as they transition to becoming productive members of society. Our goal is to help individuals overcome past struggles and internal to achieve their goals.

Our services are meant to decrease the need to turn to more expensive and restrictive levels of care and placement. They are designed to target individuals that many have deemed “hard to serve.” These apply to individuals who have experienced multiple system involvements or those with a history of multiple past treatment failures requiring access to an array of mental health services and types of support.

Peer Support Services

Our Peer Support Service is designed to offer emotional support, encouragement, advocacy and resource connection. We help individuals develop coping skills and improve daily functioning. Peer Support Services are structured and scheduled for activities for individuals with the diagnosis of Mental Health and Substance Use disorders. This is an individualized, recovery focused service that allows individuals the opportunity to learn to manage their own recovery and advocacy process. Interventions by Peer Support staff serve to enhance the development of natural supports, as well as coping and self-management skills. Staff may also provide supportive services to assist an individual in community re-entry following hospitalization.

Mental Health Support Services

We provide opportunities for individuals who are 18 years and above to aid in their training and to reinforce the development of functional skills and appropriate behavior related to their health and safety.

Mental Health Rehabilitation Services

Our staff wants to produce the maximum reduction of mental disability in an individual and their restoration to their best possible functional level. We do this by providing the needed community support and community-based intervention services. These services are for people with serious emotional disturbances and those with severe mental illnesses.
